Hamstring Hampers Robinson

Koren Robinson is hardly off to a flying start with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. The former NC State wide receiver, who was named first team All-ACC last season after making 62 catches for 1,061 yards and 13 touchdowns, is spending most if his time watching from the sidelines at the Seahawks' mini-camp this week.
The culprit is a nagging hamstring injury that has stayed with Robinson for the better part of three months. The problem first appeared when the Belmont native ran a slower than expected 40-time for NFL scouts back in March.
Now as a precautionary measure, the Seahawks are holding their prized rookie back during a four day mini-camp.
"I'm working every day to get it to 100 percent and looking forward to coming back out there when I'm able," Robinson told the Seattle Times.
And though he's been limited on the practice field, Robinson has plenty of time to stick his nose in Coach Mike Holmgren's complicated playbook. Learning the Seahawks' sophisticated "West Coast" offense certainly won't be an overnight process.
A redshirt sophomore at NC State last season, Robinson declared early for the NFL Draft. Seattle selected him with the ninth pick in the first round.
