Wolfpack Women 17th at Bryan Collegiate

NC State's women's golf team remains in 17th place in the Bryan Collegiate after the second round of competition at Bryan Park in Brown Summit, N.C. However, the Wolfpack improved 31 shots from yesterday's round to shoot a 313, the team's lowest score of the 2000-01 season.
Freshman Rebecca Randolph fired a career-best 71 to lead the Wolfpack in the second round. The Boise, Idaho native has a two-day total of 153 and is tied for 34th. Malin Claesson carded a 76 in the second round and moved into a tie for 44th.
Duke, one of the top teams in the nation, holds a 10-stroke lead over Wake Forest. The Blue Devils stand at one-over-par 577 after two round of competition.
Candy Hannemann and V. Nirapathpongporn of Duke each carded a 69 in the second round and are tied for the tournament lead at three-under-par 141.
The third and final 18-hole round of the Bryan Collegiate will take place on Sunday.
