Wolfpack Women Complete First Round at Bryan Collegiate

NC State's women's golf team stands in 17th after the first round of
play at the Bryan National Collegiate tournament at Bryan Park in Browns
Summit, N.C. The Wolfpack shot an 18-hole total of 342.
Malin Claesson of Kalmar, Sweden continues to lead the Wolfpack. The freshman shot an 80, followed by classmate Rebecca Randolph's 82. Duke fired a 289 to gain the first round lead. The Blue Devils have a five-shot lead over Oklahoma State.
Linda Wessberg of Oklahoma State fired an impressive three-under par 69 in the windy conditions to sit atop the individual leaderboard. The second round of the 54-hole tournament will be held Saturday.
