The native of Beaufort, N.C., was a first-team All-American selection by the Football Writers Association of America and the Football News. He also was a second-team selection by the Walter Camp Association and the Associated Press.
A 6-foot-2 senior, Fisher recorded 11 games of 10 or more tackles last season in leading the Wolfpack to an 8-4 record. Fisher recorded a career-high 21 tackles in a loss to Maryland and 20 stops against No. 6 Florida State.
