NC State Linebacker Fisher Breaks Forearm In Tangerine Bowl

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- North Carolina State linebacker Levar Fisher broke his left forearm Thursday night in the Tangerine Bowl.
The first-team All-America selection was injured in the second quarter of the Wolfpack's game against Pittsburgh. He didn't return.
He played with an injured knee since the team's fifth game, and was scheduled for arthroscopic surgery Monday.
Fisher is the school's leading tackler with 492. His 144 stops this season ranked second in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The 6-foot-2, 233-pound Fisher started 43 games for the Wolfpack in his collegiate career.
