Radio and Television Specials Announced for Tangerine Bowl Week
This weekend kicks off a week-long build up to the Pack's appearance in the Visit Tangerine Bowl next Thursday night. Wolfpack fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch the Pack in action with a special week-long media blitz announced today by Wolfpack Sports Marketing.
The Tangerine Bowl Preview Show, presented by NAPA
On Monday night, December 17, a special one-hour Tangerine Bowl Preview Radio Show, presented by NAPA Auto Parts will follow the weekly broadcast of the Herb Sendek Radio Show. This first-ever show, hosted by Gary Hahn, Tony Haynes and Johnny Evans will be broadcast live from Playmakers Caf?, beginning at 8:00 pm. In the Triangle, it will be carried on flagship radio station WPTF 680 AM. Many other Wolfpack Sports Network affiliates will also air the broadcast across the state.
This live one-hour special will include comments from Wolfpack players and Coach Chuck Amato. You'll re-live some of the biggest plays of the year and have the chance to call in and speak with Gary, Tony and Johnny. To call in, dial 890-6278 or toll free state wide 1-800-849-6278.
You can also be a part of the live audience at Plamakers Sports Caf? on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. Fans attending the live show will have the chance to win great prizes including NAPA footballs, "Chuck 'Em"t-shirts and even a pair of tickets to the Visit Florida Tangerine Bowl. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.
Special Bowl Preview Edition of the Television Show
Join host Don Shea and Coach Chuck Amato for a special Bowl Preview edition of the Chuck Amato Television Show. This show will feature Coach Amato's insights on the Pitt Panthers, an interview with Associate Athletics Director David Horning, who competed for the Wolfpack in the 1978 Tangerine Bowl, Peggy Amato's Top Ten Plays of the Year, and much more!
