Men's Basketball Records Exhibition Win

Sophomore Marcus Melvin scored 26 points and redshirt freshman Michael Bell added 13 on Saturday night as NC State whipped the EA All-Stars 98-75 in an exhibition basketball game at the Entertainment and Sports Arena.
The 6-8 Melvin hit 11-of-17 shots from the floor, including 3-of-4 from the three-point range. He also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds for the Pack, which hit 63.9 percent of its field goal attempts in the second half.
As a team, NC State was also 15-of-29 from the three-point arc as eight different players made shots from long-range.
Also hitting double-figures for the Wolfpack were guard Archie Miller (11), junior Cliff Crawford (10) and freshman Josh Powell (10).
Schea Cotton, who was once heavily recruited by NC State, led the EA All-Stars with 23 points.
In it's final exhibition game of the pre-season, the Pack will host Global Sports next Sarurday night at 7:30 p.m.
