Three Wolfpack take ACC Player of the Week Honors

Quarterback Philip Rivers, linebacker Dantonio Burnette and defensive back Terrence Holt were all named ACC Players of the Week after their performances in a 27-7 win over Ohio on Saturday.
Rivers was named Offensive Back of the Week after having one of his most efficient games of the season. The sophomore from Athens, AL completed 22 of 26 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown. It was the second time this season that Rivers has taken the award.
Burnette was named Defensive Lineman of the Week after leading the Wolfpack with 15 tackles, three of them for loss. The junior from Warner Robbins, GA had three tackles for loss, which includes one quarterback sack.
Holt was named Defensive Back of the Week after recording nine tackles, including seven solos. The junior from Gibsonville, NC also blocked a 32-yard field goal attempt in the third quarter, his fourth blocked field goal of the season and the seventh of his career.
