The NC State rifle team shot a score of 1,446 Saturday, beating it closest opponent, North Georgia State (1,442) by four at the SEARC 2. Clemson finished third with a score of 1,383 followed by The Citadel with 1,379 points and Wofford with 742 points.
Individually John Maroglio took first place honors as he shot a score of 377. The other top two NC State finishers were Joe Upton in fourth place with a score of 367 and Ryan Dorety in sixth place with a score of 356.
Trey Ragsdale shot a score of 346, Jason Rice a score of 343, Russell Broadwell a score of 336 and Tammy Montgomery a score of 321 for NC State.
