New Security Measures In Place At ESA

The NC State Department of Athletics and the Entertainment and Sports Arena are working together to increase security measures for the 2001-2002 basketball season.

To assist with fan enjoyment of Wolfpack basketball and to insure their safety, the following regulations will be in effect this season:

There will be a facility inspection prior to opening.

Security staff will make visual inspections of guests' bags, briefcases, etc. 20

The following items are prohibited at the ESA: Bottles, cans, coolers, alcoholic beverages, cameras with detachable lenses, video equipment, camera bags, large banners/signs, laser pointers, noisemakers, backpacks and oversized bags.

Fans must retain their tickets stubs tp verify proper seat locations

Exit/Re-Entry into the arena is not permitted except for smoking breaks located at designated sections opposite sections 108 and 115 on the main concourse.

All parking lots for home games this season will open three hours before tipoff. All of the arena lots are reserved, while parking is available at Carter-Finley Stadium for $5.00 per game. Fans wishing to take advantage of the stadium lots should enter Gates A, B, C or F.

The arena doors will open one hour before non-conference games, 1-1/2 hours before conference games.
