Women's Golf Third at Hatter Fall Classic

Howey in the Hills, FL - NC State's women's golf team stands in third place in the Hatter Fall Classic following the event's second round on Saturday at the Mission Inn Golf Club in Howey in the Hills, Fla. The Wolfpack posted a 311 in the second round for a tournament total of 627. NC State sits only six shots behind leader Michigan heading into Sunday's final round.
NC State freshman Sarah Bonner is tied for fourth place on the individual leaderboard after shooting a 78 in Saturday's second round. Bonner's 36-hole total of 153 is two shots behind leader Federica Piovano of Central Florida.
The Wolfpack also have three individuals tied for 19th on the leaderboard as sophomore Malin Claesson and rookies Colby Cobb and Erica Wein all posted second round scores in the 70's for a total of 158.
The Hatter Fall Classic, an 18-team event, will conclude on Sunday with a final 18-hole round.
