RALEIGH, N.C. -- Former NC State wide receiver Torry Holt, now a star with the NFL's St.
Louis Rams, has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl Roster. Holt, who will be
appearing in his first Pro Bowl, will be replacing injured teammate Isaac
Bruce in the NFC lineup.
In just his second professional season, Holt made 82 catches for an NFL leading 1,635 yards and six touchdowns. The Gibsonville, N.C. native also posted eight 100-yard receiving games during the 2000 campaign.
During his college career with the Wolfpack, Holt set single season and career records in just about every receiving category. He also set an ACC record with 3,379 reception yards for his career. The two-time All-ACC performer was named the ACC Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year following his senior season in 1998.
