Men's Soccer Downed by Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. (Sept. 24, 2000) -- The NC State men's soccer team was defeated by
the #16 Clemson Tigers 6-1, Sunday afternoon at Historic Riggs Field in
Clemson, S.C.
The Tigers (5-2, 1-2 ACC) jumped up early with two goals within the first seven minutes of the game, and NC State (0-5-2, 0-2) could not recover and suffered its third consecutive loss.
NC State's Lee Baldwin notched the Pack's only goal of the day early in the second half, off of an assist from Tony Malcolm. Baldwin's goal is the first for the Pack in four games, and Baldwin's second of the season. The Pack returns to action this Wednesday, as NC State plays host to Georgia Southern at the Method Road Soccer Complex at 3:30 p.m.
