ACC Media Poll: Pack Picked to Finish Seventh

New NC State football coach Chuck Amato has been telling anyone who will listen that he has a very young football team. Apparently, members of the Atlantic Coast Sportswriters Association didn't turn a deaf ear to those warnings.

At the annual ACC Football Kickoff in Hot Springs, Virginia, NC State was picked to finish seventh in the ACC pre-season media poll.

To no one's surprise, Florida State received all 74 first place votes and a total of 666 points to lead the way. The defending national champions are coming off a perfect 13-0 campaign. Clemson was picked second, followed by Virginia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Maryland. Wake Forest and Duke were eighth and ninth, respectively.
