Gasparro Joins Athletic Media Relations Staff

Gasparro, who will join the Wolfpack staff on July 17, directed all the publicity and media relations efforts for the 18-sport program at Youngstown State, designing all media guides and game programs. Prior to his appointment at YSU, he spend a year and a half as the Sports Information Director at Northwest Missouri State. During the 1995-96 season, he worked as an intern in the Public Relations Department of the NFL's Cleveland Browns and from 1994 to 1995 he was the Asssistant Sports Information Director at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
A 1993 graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, Gasparro earned his B.A. in communications. He went on to earn a master's in physical education from East Stroudsburg University in 1995, working as a graduate assistant in the sports information office.
