Football Season Tickets Selling At Record Pace

RALEIGH, NC. (June 1) - If football season tickets continue to sell at the present rate, NC State is on pace to shatter its record for season ticket sales. As of June 1, 23,000 season tickets have already been sold for the Pack's six home games in 2000. That total matches the amount sold in 1999, even though the season opener is three months away.

"This is an exciting time for Wolfpack Football," said Athletics Director Les Robinson. "There is a great deal of anticipation because of Coach Amato and his staff and many fans are showing their enthusiasm by buying their season tickets early. Game days at Carter-Finley are special times with family and friends and we are excited that so many people want to be a part of that next fall."
