Durham, N.C. (May 31, 2000) -- Five members of the NC State track and field team are currently competing in the Outdoor NCAA Championships being held at Duke University through Saturday.

Less than one second separated the top three spots, as Alabama's Tim Broe took first (8:45.15) and Ohio State's Ian Conner was second (8:45.24). Dugan will be running in the finals of the 3,000 meter steeplechase on Saturday at 8:20 p.m.
Senior Lindsey Rogers finished 13th in the finals of the women's 10,000 meters late Wednesday night. Rogers turned in a time of 34:37.07 in the 10,000 meters, only the second time she has run that event this season.
In action tomorrow for NC State will be Tyrone Dozier in the 400 meters, Brendan Rodgers in the 1,500 meters, and Katie Sabino in the 3,000 meters. All three Pack members will be running in preliminary action.
