NC State To Host Tulane In NIT First Round

NC State lost at Tulane, 62-73, earlier this season. The teams also met last season with the Wolfpack earning a 74-60 victory on Feb. 21, 1999. The Wolfpack will be competing in NIT for 10th time and making its 27th postseason appearance overall. NC State has advanced to the second round of the NIT each of the past two seasons and advanced to the championship game in 1978.
The winner of the NC State-Tulane matchup will face the winner of the New Mexico State vs. Arizona State game.
TICKET INFORMATION:
Wolfpack Club members may order tickets through the NC State Athletic
Ticket Office at 1-800-310-PACK or 515-2106. Orders that are placed on
Monday will be allocated on priority. Tickets can also be purchased in
person at the NC State Athletic Ticket Office or at the Wolfpack Club in
the Stroud Center on Western Boulevard. Tickets will be available through
TicketMaster at 834-4000 or at any TicketMaster outlet.
There will be a student distribution from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon on
Tuesday, March 14 in Window 1 at Reynolds Coliseum. Student tickets will
cost $5.00.
The price of tickets will be $15 for all adults and $5 for students.
NOTE:
Tickets for the NC State women's basketball NCAA Tournament games to be played in Norfolk, Va., on March 18 and 20, can be purchase through the NC State Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-310-PACK or 515-2106.
