Two Wolfpack Players Named to All-ACC Football Academic Team

RALEIGH, N.C. - (Feb. 9) NC State offensive tackle Todd Boyle and outside linebacker Levar Fisher have been named to the 1999 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Football team. To be eligible, a player must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the fall semester or maintained a cumulative 3.0 average during his academic career.

Boyle, who graduated from NC State in December, posted a 3.77 in business management, while Fisher, a rising junior, posted a 3.08 in the first-year college program. Both players started every game for the Pack in 1999, with Boyle playing every offensive snaps in six contests. Fisher posted a dozen tackles for loss last season, the second-best mark on the team.
