Men's Baseball: Wolfpack Defeats Old Dominion, 11-2

CHARLESTON, SC. (Feb. 13)-- Mike Sollie tossed seven strong innings and Dan Mooney drove in four runs as North Carolina State defeated the Monarchs, 11-2 in the third round of the Citadel Trademark Classic at Riley Park. NC State is now 1-2, The Monarchs are also 1-2. NC State took a 6-0 lead in the third with Mooney's three-run double highlighting the inning. The Monarchs scored in the bottom of the third when Jeff Eure(Pillow,Pa.) singled and came home to score on an rbi groundout by David Vilardi(Fishkill, NY.). Mike Sollie scatter seven hits and allowed one run for the Wolfpack.
