WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Senior Nick Olivencia of the NC State
men's soccer team was named to the All-ACC second team at the
conferences annual banquet last night.
Olivencia leads the Pack with seven points and 17 points for the season. He scored two goals against both High Point and Georgia Southern earlier in the year.
The streak of having a Wolfpack player appear on the All-ACC team dates back to 1994. Shaker Asad was named to the first team last year, and the second team in 1998.
NC State will face Virginia in the first round of the ACC Tournament this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Wake Forest University.
