Levar Fisher is ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 6, 2000) -- NC State's Levar Fisher, a junior from Beaufort, N.C., recorded a career-high 21 tackles, including five tackles for loss, in the Wolfpack's 35-28 double-overtime loss to Maryland Saturday.

Fisher's 21 tackles rank as the fourth highest total in school history, surpassing Fisher's own personal best of 20 tackles recorded two weeks ago against Florida State. Fisher leads the ACC in tackles, averaging 15.4 tackles per game.
