Pack Emerges From Maryland Game With Some Bumps and Bruises

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Needless to say, NC State's double-overtime loss at Maryland broke some hearts. But the game also bruised some bodies.
Offensive right tackle Scoot Kooistra may have sustained the most severe injury when he went down in the second quarter. The 6-6, 300 pound sophomore from Cary will have an MRI on Monday, although the preliminary diagnosis on Saturday was a ruptured patella tendon. If that diagnosis is confirmed, Kooistra will miss the rest of the season.
Guard Chris Colmer, who moved to tackle after Kooistra went down, is listed as probable for this week's game against Duke despite reaggravating a high ankle sprain.
On defense, end/tackle Nate Goodson is being listed as doubtful after spraining the medial collateral ligament in his knee.
The Wolfpack, now 5-3, will host winless Duke at 1:00 p.m. on November 11.
