Wolfpack Linebacker Doubtful for Wake Game

RALEIGH, N.C. -- First it was Edrick Smith. Now, Dantonio Burnette has some injury problems. So it goes for NC State's depleted middle linebacker position.

An ankle injury could very well keep Burnette on the sidelines in Saturday's season finale against Wake Forest at Carter-Finley Stadium. The 5-10, 220 pound sophomore is being listed as doubtful. Smith, who was alternating with Burnette in the middle earlier in the season, is already out with a shoulder injury.

Tight end Willie Wright (ankle), running back Ray Robinson (hip) and defensive tackle Jeff Fisher (foot) are probable for this week's contest.

The Deacons and Wolfpack will kick things off at 12 noon. Airtime on the Wolfpack Capitol Sports Network is 11:30 a.m.
