Fisher Leads The Nation In Tackles

Fisher leads the country with an average of 14.6 tackles per game. Strong safety Adrian Wilson is 15th in the country with an average of 11.2 tackles per game and linebacker Dantonio Burnette is 18th with an average of 11.0 per contest.
Fisher has recorded 102 tackles this season, including 54 solo stops. The native of Beaufort, N.C., is coming off a career-high 20 tackle game against #6 Florida State last Saturday. It marked the 14th time in his career that Fisher has recorded 10 or more tackles in a game. He ranks 14th all-time in school history with 280 tackles.
In six games against ranked opponents during his career, Fisher is averaging 13.0 tackles per game. He was credited with 19 tackles in the Wolfpack's 34-27 loss at #5 Clemson earlier this season.
