Red & White Game Scheduled for October 28

RALEIGH, NC (Oct. 4, 2000) -- The NC State men's basketball team will be back in action at the Entertainment and Sports Arena on Saturday, October 28, as the squad revives the tradition of the Red & White game. Former Wolfpack greats will also be in attendance at the event, as another Wolfpack jersey will be raised to the rafters.
The event will mark the public's first chance to check out the 2000-2001 Wolfpack squad and to see NC State's talented group of rookies. In addition to the scrimmage, there will be giveaways, live radio remotes, and appearances by the dance team, cheerleaders, marching band and "Mean Gene and Slappy." An autograph session with the Wolfpack players and coaches will follow the game.
The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. and admission is free. Fans are encouraged to come early, as all seating will be general admission. Fans are also encouraged to wear red for the occasion.
All football parking passes will be honored. General parking will be available at the NC State fairgrounds.
