ESA sold-out for Year Two

When plans for a new basketball arena for the Wolfpack were being developed a decade ago, the great question was "does NC State really need a 19,500-seat basketball arena?"

Last season, the first in the Entertainment and Sports Arena, the Wolfpack positively answered that question in resounding fashion. Season ticket sales nearly tripled from Reynolds Coliseum. Many say that a ticket to last season's UNC game was the hardest ticket to find for a sporting event in North Carolina history. The thousands of fans unable to witness the game in person would certainly attest to that fact. Athletic department officials estimate that 30,000 tickets would have been needed to handle the demand from fans.

After last season's success and pointing to the upcoming season, many wondered if the Wolfpack faithful could do it again.

Again, the answer is a resounding "YES." For the second straight season, the NC State Wolfpack has sold-out the ESA! In fact, when all the tickets are counted, it is expected that NC State will have sold over 14,500 season tickets.

Season tickets are being mailed this week via two-day mail.
