NC State Men and Women Win Easily in Swimming

The NC State women were paced on the day by freshman Annamaria Gazda. The Budapest, Hungary native, competing in her first meet for the Pack, won the 200 IM (2:11.14) and 100 freestyle (54.07). Gazda was also a member of the NC State 200 medley relay squad that placed first in a time of 1:50.46.
As for the men, diver Andy Johnson continued his dominance on both boards. Johnson placed first on the one-meter board, with a score of 327.60, while also winning on the three-meter board, with a score of 337.05.
Tomorrow, both the NC State men and women will host UNCW at the Willis Casey Aquatics Center. That meet, originally slated to begin at 2:00 p.m., will now take place at 1:30 p.m.
