NC State Men and Women Split Against Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va. (January 22, 2000) -- The NC State men's swim team pushed it's record to 12-1 on Saturday with a 154-89 victory over Virginia Tech at the War Memorial Pool. The Virginia Tech women's swimming and diving team defeated the Wolfpack Women, 154-89, to knock the NC State women to 10-4 on the season.
For the Tech women, the 400 medley relay team of Kelly Furlong, Paige Sample, Karen Most and Lexie White broke a record while Lindsey Tew (50 Free) and Kelly Furlong (200 IM) also broke pool marks. For the NCSU women, Annamaria Gazda broke the mark in the 200 backstroke.
The Wolfpack men broke three records: 50 freestyle (Greg Solt), 100 butterfly (Madison Snyder) and 200 medley relay (Morrow, Rademacher, Haley and Chipman).
