Pack Forced Indoors

The arrival of Hurricane Floyd won't stop NC State's preparations for this Saturdays battle with top ranked Florida State, but the storm has forced coach Mike O'Cain and his staff to make some alterations to their practice routine.
Wednesday's practices will be conducted indoors at the Weisinger-Brown Building. Because of limited space at the indoor practice facility, the defense and offense won't have the luxury of being on the floor at the same time.
It's conceivable that the Pack will travel to Tallahassee with only two regular practice sessions under its belt. The team had routine practices on the outdoor fields on Monday and Tuesday.
Excessive rainfall will likely render the outdoor practice fields unplayable on Thursday, thus eliminating any hope of getting in a normal practice. O'Cain is scheduled to meet with his team on Thursday evening.
NC State is still scheduled to depart for Tallahassee on Friday afternoon.
