Pack's Robinson is ACC Rookie of the Year

At the beginning of the football season, Koren Robinson figured to be the
third wide receiver in NC State's rotation. But when seniors Chris Coleman
and Ryan Hamrick went down with injuries at the midway point, the 6-2, 195
pound redshirt freshman from Belmont suddenly became the Wolfpack's go to
guy.
He certainly took advantage of the opportunity.
Robinson, who caught 48 passes for 853 yards and two touchdowns, has been named ACC Rookie of the Year. In ballots cast by the Atlantic Coast Sportwriters Association, Robinson received 34 votes. Maryland quarterback Calvin McCall finished a distant second with 15 votes.
Robinson's season included six 100-yard receiving games, which was more than any other player in the conference.
