It's been a long time in coming, but the NC State men's basketball team is finally getting some national recognition for its early success this season. The Wolfpack, which improved to 7-0 with a win over Liberty last Friday night, is ranked 25th in this week's new Associated Press College Basketball Poll.
This marks the first time NC State has been ranked since January 16, 1990.
The Wolfpack will be looking to stay unbeaten when it meets 7-1 Tulane Wednesday night in New Orleans.
The ACC placed a total of five teams in this week's rankings.
