Former Pack Member Gutierrez Named To All-Decade Team

Raleigh, N.C. - Former NC State men's soccer player Henry Gutierrez has just been named by Soccer America as part of their "Team of the Decade" for men's collegiate soccer. This team was selected by the editorial staff of Soccer America, and features the best eleven college soccer players of the 1990s.
Gutierrez played for the Wolfpack from 1988 till 1991. He ranks fifth in the record books for points n a career (114), sixth in all-time goals (41), and fourth in all-time assists (32). As team captain in 1991, Gutierrez helped NC State to the ACC title, and a trip to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships. Gutierrez is currently a starting midfielder for MLS's Miami Fusion.
