NC State hosts Stetson

NC State officially begins life without Kenny Inge on Friday when it entertains Stetson at the Entertainment and Sports Arena. Inge, a 6-8 junior, suffered a partially torn MCL in his left knee in the second half of the Pack's 75-61 victory over Old Dominion on Tuesday night.
Surgery will not be required, but Inge will need from four to six weeks of rest and rehab before he's ready to return to the court.
Junior Ron Kelley, who contributed 13 points and four rebounds on Tuesday, will likely move into the starting line-up with Inge on the shelf.
Both teams come into Friday's contest with 2-0 records. The Hatters stayed perfect by beating Furman on Monday night 63-60. Trailing by seven points with six minutes to play, Stetson went on a 15-5 run to end the game.
The Hatters will bring just nine healthy players to Raleigh. Three guards have been injured in just the last two weeks.
Although this will be the fourth meeting between the two schools, it will be the first since the Wolfpack recorded a 25-15 win over Stetson in the 1938-39 season. NC State has won all three games in the series.
Gametime on Friday night is 7:30. The Capitol Sports Network pre-game show begins at 7 p.m. Fans inside the arena can hear the broadcast on 87.7 fm.
