RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- North Carolina State forward Kenny Inge suffered a
partial tear of a knee ligament during Tuesday's game against Old
Dominion and will be sidelined for four to six weeks, the school said
Wednesday.
The injury to the medial collateral ligament in his left knee will require rest and rehabilitation but not surgery, said Charlie Rozanski, N.C. State's director of sports medicine. An MRI conducted Wednesday revealed the damage.
Inge limped off the court early in the second half of Tuesday's game after hurting his knee going for a rebound.
Inge, a junior, has averaged 8.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games this season. He has averaged 10.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in his Wolfpack career.
