NC State's top tailback should see some action in this Saturday night's contest against Clemson, but just how much Ray Robinson will play is another question. The sophomore from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina has been slowed all season by two separate ankle sprains.
Thanks to a bye in the schedule last weekend, Robinson was able to stay off his ankle most of last week. The downtime obviously helped because he has practiced every day this week. Robinson will likely back-up senior Rahshon Spikes on Saturday night.
Another Wolfpack running back, Eric Leak, is slowly recovering from a toe injury. He to has participated in workouts this week.
The defensive line will be without one of its perimeter pass rushers against the pass-happy Tigers. End Clint Johnson has been ruled out of Saturday's contest with a shin injury.
