Holt Wins GOPACK.com Fans Poll

RALEIGH - (Oct. 4) Who is NC State's greatest football player of the 20th century? According to those of you who visit GOPACK.com, it's former All-America wide receiver Torry Holt.

In a fans poll question that was up on this site for two weeks, Holt edged out running back Ted Brown in a tight contest. Holt received 31.8% percent of the votes compared to 30.6% for Brown.

Former Outland Trophy winner Jim Ritcher was third with 17.8%. He was followed by quarterback Roman Gabriel (16.4%) and Dick Christy (3.3%).
