Robinson is Back, Again

It's a scene that has been repeated over and over again this season. NC State tailback Ray Robinson gets hurt, misses practice, sits out a game, returns to practice then gets hurt again.
As former New York Yankees catcher Yogi Berra would say, "it's dj vu all over again."
Robinson made his most recent return to the practice field on Tuesday. The reigning ACC rookie of the year is just nine days removed from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. While not 100 percent, Robinson could see action in this Saturday's game at Duke.
A series of injuries, which date all the way back to the first week of pre-season practice, have limited Robinson's playing time this season. He has just 43 carries for 210 yards, but his average of 4.5 yards per carry points out just how much his explosiveness has been missed by the NC State offense.
While he's missed just two games, Robinson has spent more time on the trainer's table than on the field in five others. He had 13 carries in the opener at Texas, 15 against South Carolina, eight vs. William & Mary, only three in the game at Wake Forest and four in the Pack's win over Clemson two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the status of Levar Fisher seems to be improving. The sophomore linebacker, who sustained a high ankle sprain in NC State's loss to Virginia last Saturday, is slated to return to the practice field on Wednesday. He is now being listed as probable for the Duke game.
Fisher is the Pack's second leading tackler with 69.
