Walk of Fame & History Maps: 1st Floor | 2nd Floor
The NC State Athletics Walk of Fame & History opened in September 2016 and celebrates the remarkable history of the Wolfpack.
One of the primary objectives of the Reynolds Coliseum was the merge the great history of athletics with an eye on the future. The Walk of Fame & History chronicles that illustrious history.
The Walk of Fame & History features displays of Wolfpack icons, and a permanent home for NC State Athletics Hall of Fame.
Additionally, all four of NC State’s national championship programs are recognized in the main floor of the Grand Hall, while all of NC State ACC and NCAA individual champions are recognized as well.
The structure is highlighted an animated board which interacts with visitors, with trivia, video highlights, player features, social feeds, and interactive games like Tuffy Toss.
A wolfpack sculpture along the stairwell leads the way to the second level where fans learn about iconic figures such as Kay Yow and Jim Valvano, as well as the pioneers of NC State Athletics.
The famed noise meter has been refurbished and restored to its glory, and fans can take turns creating their own memories.
Additional displays highlight NC State’s numerous Olympians and professional athletes, as well as showcase the apparel of partner adidas.
