Bradbury Named to Rimington Trophy Watch List

RALEIGH, N.C. – Wolfpack starting center Garrett Bradbury has been named to the 2018 Rimington Trophy Watch List. The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the most outstanding center in NCAA Division I College Football.

Last season in his first season at center, Bradbury played 98% of the Pack's offensive snaps in 2017 (1,000 of 1,022 gradeable snaps). He was a first-team All-ACC choice by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA), and honorable mention honors on the official league team.

In order to create this list, the committee accepted nominations from programs across the country that submitted their current starting centers for consideration. This preseason, centers were nominated from every conference, with 58 total nominees and 27 past watch listers. The Pac-12 leads the list with 10 nominations, followed by the ACC with 8, and the SEC with 7.

The Rimington Trophy is a part of the National College Football Awards Association, which encompasses the most prestigious awards in college football. Founded in 1997, the NCFAA and its 24 awards now boast over 800 recipients, dating to 1935. Visit www.NCFAA.org to learn more about its story.
