Wolfpack Announces 2018 Season Schedule

FULL 2018 SCHEDULE | SEASON TICKETS

RALEIGH – With a postseason appearance in his first season at NC State and a nationally-ranked incoming recruiting class set to make its Wolfpack debut, NC State men's soccer head coach George Kiefer released the program's 2018 schedule on Friday.

Including a free exhibition contest on August 12, the 2018 season schedule features 10 matches at Dail Soccer Stadium on campus in Raleigh. The schedule also features 10 opponents (nine in regular-season matches) that competed in the 2017 NCAA Tournament and two College Cup participants.

In home Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play, the Wolfpack will host Virginia Tech (Sept. 21), Louisville (Sept. 28), UNC-Chapel Hill (Oct. 12), and Syracuse (Oct. 20). On the road in league play, NC State will take on Wake Forest (Sept. 7), Pittsburgh (Sept. 14), Boston College (Oct. 5), and close the regular season at Clemson (Oct. 26).

NC State will open the 2018 regular season when USC Upstate comes to Dail Soccer Stadium on Friday, Aug. 24. The Wolfpack will then travel north to play at 2017 College Cup participant Akron on Monday, Aug. 27.

The 2018 ACC Tournament will be played in late October and early November, with the first three rounds to be hosted at campus sites before culminating in a neutral-site championship match. Exact dates will be released by the league office in the near future. Last season, NC State earned the right to host an ACC Tournament match at Dail Soccer Stadium for the first time in program history.

The 2018 College Cup will be played Dec. 7 and 9 at Meredith Field at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif.
