Â
RALEIGH – NC State women's basketball head coach Wes Moore announced Tuesday that assistant coach Lindsay Edmonds has been promoted to the role of Recruiting Coordinator on the team's coaching staff.
Â
Edmonds recently completed her fifth season with the Wolfpack as an assistant coach and has been part of Moore's coaching staff for each of his five seasons in Raleigh. Together, they have helped the Wolfpack achieve a 112-52 record (51-29 in Atlantic Coast Conference games), three NCAA Tournament appearances, and one appearance in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 (2018).
Â
"I'm happy to be able to promote Lindsay to the position of Recruiting Coordinator at NC State," head coach Wes Moore said. "She's been a big part of our success over the last few years as an assistant coach. She's very organized and detail-oriented, and will do a great job as we have a new staff going out and representing NC State."

Â
Prior to her time at NC State, Edmonds was an assistant coach at James Madison for four seasons. While with the Dukes, she helped guide her teams to two Colonial Athletic Association championships, two NCAA Tournament appearances, and four total postseason appearances. She was an assistant coach and coordinated recruiting efforts at Appalachian State from 2007-09.
Â
A 2005 graduate of Appalachian State University, Edmonds, then Lindsay Smith, was a four-year starter and 1,000-point scorer. She is a native of Winston-Salem, N.C., holds a bachelor's degree in health promotions, and is a 2011 graduate of the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy.
Â
Edmonds is married to Ulrick Edmonds, who is the Defensive Ends Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for the Charlotte 49ers football coaching staff. The couple has two young daughters, Nylah and Halyn.
