Pack falls to #21 UVA then bounces back to defeat Winthrop
RALEIGH – The NC State women's tennis team split its doubleheader Sunday as it first fell 5-2 to #21 Virginia then bounced back later in the day to defeat Winthrop 4-3 at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.

#21 Virginia
While the Cavaliers took the doubles point, NC State earned the win at No. 2 as Adriana Reami and Amanda Rebol defeated Cassie Mercer and Chloe Gullickson 6-3
In singles #118 Adriana Reami overcame Meghan Kelley 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 and at No. 6 Tayla Stenta defeated Hunter Bleser 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8).
Winthrop
NC State won the doubles point thanks to Reami and Rebol earning the win at No. 2 over Alisa Soloveva and Tayla Van Eck 6-0 followed by Bianca Moldovan and Stenta defeating Aida Kelic and Ellie Burns 6-2 at No. 3.
In singles, Wiktorin earned a three-set victory at No. 3 over Megan Kauffman 6-0, 3-6, 6-2, Reami battled back to overcome Alisa Soloveva 5-7, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 and Stenta earned a 6-4, 6-3 win at the fifth flight over Aida Kelic.
