Ticket Information
RALEIGH, N.C. -Â The NC State men's basketball team received a bid to the 2018 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. In head coach Kevin Keatts's first season, the Wolfpack (21-11) earned the No. 9 seed in the Midwest Region.
NC State will head to Wichita, Kan. to face No. 8 seed Seton Hall (21-11) in the first round on Thursday. The matchup will be played after the conclusion of the 2 p.m. game between Kansas and Penn and will be broadcast on TBS.Â
"I'm excited for my players and staff to make the NCAA Tournament," said Keatts. "This is the greatest tournament in the world, and I'm thrilled my players get to experience it. To go from being preseason picked 12th in the ACC to an at-large selection for the tournament is a great accomplishment. It has been a very rewarding season, but we still have a golden opportunity to build on it. We've been given an opportunity to compete for the greatest prize in our sport, and we look forward to the challenge."
The Pack will make its 27th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and its first since 2015. Â
