RALEIGH – Despite impressive play from the top of its lineup, the NC State women's tennis team fell 6-1 to #4 Duke in its ACC opener Sunday afternoon at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.

Doubles
At the No. 2 position Amanda Rebol and Adriana Reami suffered a 6-3, 6-4 loss to #5 Samantha Harris and Kelly Chen while at No. 3 Duke's Meible Chi and Hannah Zhao overcame Tay;a Stenta and Taylor Bridges 6-2.
Singles
At the No. 3 position, Claudia Wiktorin dropped the opening set against #65 Kaitlyn McCarthy but battled back to earn an a gutsy 6-7 (6-8), 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) victory. At the No. 1 spot Anna Rogers took ninth-ranked Samantha Harris to three sets as she fell 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Adriana Reami suffered a 6-3, 7-5 loss at #30 Kelly Chen at No. 2.
