RALEIGH – Currently on its longest Atlantic Coast Conference winning streak since the 2013-14 season, the NC State women's basketball team (17-5, 6-3 ACC) hosts No. 10/11 Florida State in an important league clash Thursday evening at Reynolds Coliseum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

Despite graduating four senior starters and their accompanying 43.5 points per game from the 2016-17 squad, the 2017-18 Wolfpack is one game better (17-5) through 22 games than last season (16-6). Despite preseason predictions of 10th (coaches) and eighth (media), the Wolfpack is currently tied for fifth in the ACC standings.

AMONG THE RARE FEW
Senior forward Chelsea Nelson became just the 33rd player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points during NC State's 62-41 win at Clemson on Jan. 28.

PRETTY TOUGH AT HOME
Presently in the fifth season under head coach Wes Moore, the Wolfpack is 61-14 at home since the beginning of the 2013- 14 season. In conference games at home, Moore has led the Wolfpack to a 24-12 mark.

MAJOR REBOUNDING ADVANTAGE
In 22 games this season, NC State has won 19 rebounding contests. The Wolfpack has four times this season out-rebounded its opponents by 20 or more (South Alabama, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, and Clemson).

FIVE STRAIGHT ACC WINS
NC State's current five-game ACC winning streak marks the second time since Moore's first season that the Wolfpack has won five or more consecutive games against league opponents. The longest streak of six was set during the 2013-14 season.
