
Swimming & Diving Tabbed at #6/15 in Latest National Polls

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State swimming & diving team is featured in the first national rankings of 2018, as the men's team checked in at #6 and the women's squad sat at #15 in the latest CSCAA/TYR Top 25, released Wednesday morning.

The men earned 245 points to points to secure the #6 spot while the women had a point total of 106, leaving them with a ranking of #15.

California sits atop the men's poll with 300 votes and Texas A&M remains the #1 women's team with 240 votes.

Strength of the ACC
Once again, several ACC teams were featured prominently in the top 25. On the men's side, there was #14 Louisville, #19 Virginia Tech, #20 Florida State, #22 Notre Dame and #23 Virginia. Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh also received votes.

Among the women's top 25 was #11 Virginia, #9 Louisville, #21 UNC-Chapel Hill, #22 Notre Dame and #24 Virginia Tech and #25 Florida State.

The Wolfpack travels to Charlottesville, Virginia, for an ACC dual with  #23/8 Virginia on Jan. 19 inside the University of Virginia Fitness & Aquatic Center. Diving begins at 11:00 AM and swimming starts at 3:00 PM.
