NC State Baseball Ranked No. 13 in Perfect Game Preseason Poll

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – For the second consecutive season, the NC State baseball team will start the season ranked among the top 15 of the Perfect Game Preseason Poll, as the Wolfpack is listed at No. 13 in the rankings released Wednesday.

Last season, NC State was ranked No. 14 in the preseason listing. The Pack has been listed among the preseason top 25 or the final top 25 of a major poll in each of the past 16 seasons.

NC State is one of seven programs from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) to appear in the rankings.

The Wolfpack opens the 2018 season at home on Feb. 16 against Seton Hall with first pitch slated for 3 p.m. For the second consecutive season, the Wolfpack will kick off the year with the #Pack9 Party, which will take place on Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. inside the Close-King Indoor Practice Facility.
