#PackPros Round-Up: Week One

RALEIGH – Week One of the NFL regular season saw several PackPros in action and also reinforced why NC State is known as QBU – three former members of the Wolfpack started at quarterback for their respective teams, and a fourth played the fourth quarter.

- In his regular season debut with the Chicago Bears, Mike Glennon almost steered the team to victory over the Atlanta Falcons. In the Bears 23-17 loss, Glennon connected on 26/40 passes for 213 yards and one touchdown.
- Philip Rivers threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns, as he completed 22/33 passes in the Los Angeles Chargers 24-21 loss at the hands of the Denver Broncos

- In the Seattle Seahawks 17-9 loss to the Green Bay Packers, Russell Wilson completed 14/27 passes for 158 yards, while his two rushing attempts for 40 yards also led the team in that category.
- While the Indianapolis Colts fell 46-9 to the Los Angeles Rams, recently signed Jacoby Brissett made the most of his opportunities as he came off the bench and played the entire fourth quarter, completing 2/3 passes for 51 yards.
- Making his regular season debut, Matthew Dayes rushed for seven yards on three attempts, while also catching two passes for nine yards.
- Joe Thuney contributed a key block on the opening touchdown of the NFL season, during the New England Patriots 42-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs

- David Amerson contributed two tackles in the Oakland Raiders 26-13 win over the Tennessee Titans.
- Juston Burris had an interception and a pass deflection in the New York Jets 23-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
