
Women’s Soccer To Host High Point In Exhibition Tuesday

RALEIGH – The NC State women's soccer team will hold its first match of the season Tuesday, as the Wolfpack welcomes High Point in an exhibition contest. Kick off is slated for 7 p.m. at Dail Soccer Stadium.
PROMOTIONS
Admission is free, as Tuesday will be the first opportunity for fans to pick up a 2017 schedule poster. Fans will also receive a coupon for discounted admission to the Davidson match Sept. 10 at 1 p.m.
PRESEASON TRAINNG
NC State started preseason training on Aug. 2. GoPack.com caught up with head coach Tim Santoro as the team progressed through its practices.

ROSTER BREAKDOWN
The Wolfpack only lost one player to graduation and returns the top four scorers from 2016, including All-ACC selections Tziarra King and Kia Rankin. The squad welcomes seven talented players that make up the freshmen class.
2016 SEASON RECAP
The 2016 campaign was one of the most successful seasons in program history, shocking the conference and nation with a breakout season that featured an improved Wolfpack side with program-changing victories and a run to the Sweet 16.
The Wolfpack won the most matches in a single season in 20 years, ended a 20-year NCAA Championship appearance drought and set the second-best ACC season in school history with four wins and one draw for 13 points in conference play.
The season was highlighted by a run to the NCAA Third Round (Sweet 16) for just the fourth time in school history.
SEASON OPENER
The Pack will open its regular season Aug. 18 at Oregon, which will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network at 8 p.m. ET. The team will then travel to Portland Aug. 20 for an 8 p.m. ET matchup.
TICKETS ON SALE
Single-match tickets as well as season tickets are still on sale for the 2017 season, which features 10 home matches.
